There are few portions of Scripture that can bring more delight to the soul than (Psalm 119). And there are few activities that bring as much joy to my heart as does meditating on (Psalm 119).
In this short devotion I have listed seven of my favorite verses from this majestic psalm that I encourage you take time to read and meditate on. As you do I believe that you to, like the psalmist here, will develop a love affair with the Bible.
“My soul is consumed with longing for your laws at all times.” (Psalm 119:20)
“Your statutes are my delight; they are my counselors.” (Psalm 119:24)
“Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law.” (Psalm 119:18)
“I rejoice at Your word as one who finds great treasure.” (Psalm 119:162)
“How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!” (Psalm 119:103)
“The law from your mouth is more precious to me than thousands of pieces of silver and gold.” (Psalm 119:72)
“I obey your statutes, for I love them greatly.” (Psalm 119:167)
