When it comes to how our universe came into existence we basically have two competing theories. Either we belief in the evolutionary mantra of nobody times nothing equals everything, as we shared in yesterday’s devotion, or that: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth,” as is eloquently and concisely stated in the Bible (Genesis 1:1).
Yesterday, we showed why blind chance and mindless matter were hardly an appealing way to bring something as awesome as our universe and as complex as mankind into existence. Not only that but, if evolution were true, how sad that it took 4.5 billion years to bring about mankind, who will only exist for 70 to 90 years before he vanishes into nothing!
But today, I would like to share another fantastic story of how we came into existence called creation. In this saga we have to go way back, back before time began, to a time when the only thing in existence was God. And just as we have to accept the theory of evolution by faith, since no one was there to watch it unfold, we too must accept by faith that God always existed from eternity past. Clearly evolution makes no sense since it states that nothing created everything, and as any school boy knows, you can’t make something from nothing. Creation, on the other hand, makes much more sense, since it states that an infinitely powerful God, who always existed, made the universe out of his infinite wisdom and invisible substances, for we read: “By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.” (Hebrews 11:3).
So, some may ask, who created God? My answer is that we as finite beings will never be able to fully comprehend and understand the infinite nature and mind of a Being so vastly superior to us – God. Who created God must fall under the category of things we have to accept by faith. But unlike evolution, which requires blind faith in a fairy tale, creation, by an all-powerful and eternal God, can be clearly seen from two very special books, one called nature, and the other called the Bible.
Let’s briefly examine these two special books. First nature, or our observable planet, and universe, screams out that blind chance could never have created a universe so vast, beautiful, full of wonder, and infinite complexity. I love what the late great American scientist Linus Pauling said regarding the complexity of even the simplest life form when he said: “Just one living cell in the human body is, more complex than New York City.”1 It is absolutely absurd to look at our universe, with its amazing beauty and complexity and attribute all that we see to blind chance. (Romans 1:18-20) tells us that this is not a valid option when it says: “The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.”
In our true life saga of how everything came into existence, the book of nature makes it abundantly clear that God, not blind chance, is the star of this amazing production called creation.
The second book, the Bible, unlike the evolutionist’s Bible, Darwin’s, Origin of Species, which is a book of speculative fiction, is the most wonderful book ever written. Not only does the Bible explain how creation took place, but it tells us how humanity came into being, what our purpose in life is, and where we go when we die.
The Bible is the most amazingly accurate book of history, science, and prophecy ever written. It has the answers to life’s most difficult questions. It never grows old. And its central character, Jesus Christ, is the God who created everything, and who loves you so much that He wants to enter into a personal relationship with you!
My friends to stake your life on a theory, that says you are nothing more than a chance collision of molecules that over vast eons of time evolved into humanity, leaves you with the stark realization that death is final and life is sadly, purposeless.
Creation, on the other hand, has an all-powerful and loving God who made the universe and created you in His very own image! And the book that is all about this awesome God, the Bible, tells us just how special we are to God, how to enjoy life, and how to have eternal life through faith in Jesus! Christianity and the Bible have the best worldview fit on how our universe and mankind came into existence, and how to truly live happily ever after!

Today’s liberal mantra screams “racism” at every opportunity. Just like Senator Biden colluding with Senator Byrd, a Grand Cyclopes of the Ku Klux Klan, to fight segregation in the government schools, many of the early secularists, like Darwin or Margret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood, were some of the worst racists the world has ever known. Sanger, a Nazi sympathizer, saw abortions as purifying the race by killing black babies in the womb. Her clinics were strategically placed in minority neighborhoods for that purpose and the preponderance are there to this day.
Most people have never heard the full title Darwin gave his book:
On the Origin of the Species by Means of Natural Selection, or The Preservation of Favored Races in the Struggle for Life.
These are evil people that have impacted our world as spokespersons for Satan.
