If you have been reading my devotions for a while I am sure you realize that I love to use quotes by famous people to support my arguments on the veracity of the Bible and Christianity. While I am keenly aware that a quote doesn’t prove the truthfulness of Christianity what I believe it does do is cause the believer to feel encouraged in their faith and the unbeliever, perhaps, to rethink their views on the Bible.
Apologetics won’t save an unbeliever, but it just may cause them to reconsider checking out Jesus and the Bible. In our world today, which is so anti-Christian, I pray that the following ten quotes may encourage you to realize that our Bible is not just another book and that it is beloved by a vast array of world famous individuals. I dare say if these ten endorsements were on the book jacket of the Bible it just may cause a skeptic to check out this amazing book. While non-believers are clearly dead in their sins and wouldn’t seek God on their own, apologetics and prayer can provide a key to opening their blind eyes to the truth of the Gospel.
I pray that these ten quotes on the Bible, which are among my favorites, may bless you in your walk with the Lord:
