A Wonderful Prayer!

In today’s devotion I just want to share with you a portion of Scripture from (Psalm119) that I believe all Christians should incorporate into their daily prayer time. As I re-read the verses below I began to realize how much this prayer is the desire of my heart and how much these verses can help me line up with the will of the Lord. And rather than comment on each verse I pray you ask the Holy Spirit to illuminate these precious words to your heart and re-read them and pray them often.

(Psalm 119:33-40)

ה He

33 Teach me, Lord, the way of your decrees,
that I may follow it to the end.
34 Give me understanding, so that I may keep your law
and obey it with all my heart.

35 Direct me in the path of your commands,
    for there I find delight.
36 Turn my heart toward your statutes
    and not toward selfish gain.
37 Turn my eyes away from worthless things;
preserve my life according to your word.
38 Fulfill your promise to your servant,
so that you may be feared.
39 Take away the disgrace I dread,
    for your laws are good.
40 How I long for your precepts!
In your righteousness preserve my life.

  1. Every prayer we pray is ultimately Praising Our God. Whether it be prayers thanking God, payers for healing, prayers for safety or peace. Simply casting our concerns upon Him is recognition of Who He Is. When that voice rings in your heart nd mind reminding us that it’s not about us but all about Him.

  2. I was recently diagnosed with Cancer and through prayer was in a good place with Our God. I turned it all over to Him. I asked for His Will to be done in my life. All the prayers I was receiving from brothers and sisters for healing. Then those words would resonate in my spirit ” it’s not about you, it’s about Him ” They were Praising Him. I experienced The Joy of The Lord at that moment and found myself thanking God for using these prayers for healing for me to
be manifested in Praising Him. That’s when I realized that all prayer truly Glorifies Our God
